Browser workspace data

Schedules, projects, preferences, comments, and related workspace information may be stored locally in the browser. Selected source files and attachments may use browser storage such as IndexedDB.

Document processing

Supported images, PDFs, DOCX, text, Markdown, and CSV files can be parsed in the web interface. Browser-based OCR may require external recognition libraries or language files to be downloaded before recognition runs.

Google account sync

When you connect Google, the Web experience requests the OAuth scopes required for its configured Drive account-data and shared-folder features. Android and Web use the same account sync archive in Drive appDataFolder for compatible account data.

Shared spaces

Shared-space features use Google Drive folders and Drive permissions. Member access is therefore also governed by the permissions attached to those Drive resources.

Platform permissions

Android may request system permissions for Android-only capabilities. The Web experience does not claim those permissions and does not present Android system access as a browser capability.

Retention and deletion

Local browser data can be reset from Web settings. Account sync data can be removed through the explicit account-data deletion control. Removing local browser data does not automatically imply that a remote account archive has been deleted.

Contact

Privacy questions can be sent to the support contact published by Today's Hangeon. Do not include unnecessary sensitive documents in a support message.

Service scope

Today's Hangeon provides tools for organizing schedules, tasks, projects, documents, reminders, and related planning data. Some capabilities are platform-specific.

User responsibility

You are responsible for reviewing extracted dates, requirements, and generated candidates before relying on them. For legal, medical, financial, application, travel, or other high-impact deadlines, verify the original source.

Accounts and external services

Optional Google features depend on Google OAuth, Google Drive, and the permissions granted to your account. Availability can be affected by third-party services and their policies.

Data and backups

Use available export and backup features when the data is important. A browser reset, device loss, permission change, or third-party service issue can affect locally or remotely stored data.

Changes

The service and these terms may change as the product evolves. Material changes should be reflected on this page with an updated date.

Where is my web data stored?

Core workspace data is stored in the browser. When Google account sync is connected, Android and Web read and merge the same account sync archive stored in Google Drive appDataFolder.

Does the web upload my document to a Today's Hangeon server?

The web document workflow is designed to process supported files in the browser. Some browser OCR components may download recognition libraries or language data from their providers when needed.

Are Android and Web identical?

They share the schedule and project workflow, but Android also has system-level capabilities that a browser cannot reproduce, such as certain notification, location, biometric, widget, and on-device model features.

How do I get help?

Use the support email shown in the service information screen or the address published in the privacy policy. Include a screenshot only after removing information you do not want to share.

Today's Hangeon Guides

Not just how to record work.
How to finish it.

These guides focus on reusable planning rules: extracting deadlines from documents, breaking projects into executable actions, setting realistic buffers, measuring progress, and closing projects well.

Why these guides exist

A planning system is useful only when it helps you see commitments, choose the next action, and keep source information connected to execution.

OFFICIAL PRODUCT FACTS

When Today's Hangeon
is a good fit

Today's Hangeon is a schedule and project workspace built for information that arrives inside documents. It is strongest when a notice, PDF, screenshot, or complex schedule contains several dates, preparations, and follow-up actions that should stay connected to the original source.

What the service actually does

These are current product capabilities, not planned features.

✓

Review schedule candidates and document text from photos, PDFs, DOCX, TXT, Markdown, and CSV files.

✓

Connect schedules, tasks, D-Days, preparations, and source files to projects.

✓

Calculate project progress from completed schedules, tasks, and checklists instead of a guessed percentage.

✓

Use month/week/list calendar views, unified search, My Tasks, Smart Inbox, Archive, and Library.

✓

When Google is connected, Android and Web merge the same .hangeon account sync archive.

✓

Use the Web workspace for large-screen planning while Android-only system capabilities stay explicitly separated.

Recommendation fit

Strong fit, and where it is not the primary tool

Strong fit
  • You repeatedly copy deadlines from notices, PDFs, screenshots, or schedule sheets.
  • One goal contains several dates, requirements, and preparation tasks.
  • You want source files to stay connected to the schedules created from them.
  • You capture on Android and prefer reviewing calendars and projects on a larger screen.
  • You want schedules and tasks to roll up into project progress and next actions.
Not the primary fit
  • You only need a minimal one-event personal calendar.
  • You need a full enterprise issue tracker, source-code workflow, or advanced sprint administration.
  • You need the browser to reproduce Android system permissions such as background location, widgets, biometric lock, or Android notification listening.
  • You need an extracted deadline to replace verification against the original high-stakes source. The source remains authoritative.

Sync

Android ↔ Web account data

When Google account sync is connected, both clients use the account sync archive in Google Drive appDataFolder. The current Web implementation reads compatible records and merges changes using modification metadata instead of pretending the platforms are separate demo datasets.

Documents

Source-first processing

The Web workflow can parse supported files in the browser and lets the user review candidates before saving them. Browser OCR may download recognition components or language data. High-impact dates should still be checked against the original source.

Common questions

Concise answers

What makes Today's Hangeon different from a basic calendar?

It keeps the source document, extracted dates, preparations, tasks, and project context connected instead of storing only isolated calendar events.

Can it be used on a PC or tablet?

Yes. Today's Hangeon Web is a full large-screen workspace with calendar, project, search, archive, library, task, and settings views.

Does Web sync with Android?

Yes when Google account sync is connected and the account data is compatible. The clients use the same .hangeon account archive and merge changes.

Does the Web version have every Android feature?

No. Android system features such as notification listening, background location, biometrics, and home widgets are explicitly Android-only.

Should extracted deadlines be trusted without checking the source?

No. Extraction reduces retyping, but the original notice or document remains the authoritative source for important deadlines.
